I had my permit when I was 17 like normal but I felt too overwhelmed and under-supported to actually go through with learning to drive. For one reason or another, I waited 11 years to try again. Read full review test on the first try because of Dwight. Even though learning to drive really was a challenge, working with him was the best part of the experience. He communicated with me on a level that made me feel challenged but also remained understanding of where I was at in my journey. Im very proud to say I finally have my drivers license and I owe so much of this to Dwight for his patience and skill. I would recommend going this route to anyone who needs to be challenged, yet supported. Even the most impossible cases can be helped with the right kind of teacher, and I can attest to that.

So glad we went with Guthrie Driving School! We decided to go with lessons towards the end of the permit period for my son. I wanted to make sure all of the rules and techniques he needed to know were being addressed. Dwight was so accommodating in scheduling. He bent over backwards to meet our schedule and travel to our location. Both he and Tim were excellent instructors and very professional and relatable. This put my son at ease. An awesome experience overall and I highly recommend!

Thank you to Guthrie Driving School and Tim in particular for preparing my son to take his drivers test. Because of the thorough instruction and practice that my son received, he did very well on the test and has the skills to be a safe driver.

My daughter recently completed driving instruction with Jill at Guthrie. Jill went above and beyond to make my daughter feel comfortable and confident behind the wheel. She passed on knowledge and rules I didn t even know about. My daughter enjoyed every lesson she had with Jill. She was nervous about parallel parking, but with Jill s expertise, she mastered it in one lesson! She then went on to pass her test on the first try and Jill was just as excited as my daughter. After her last lesson, my daughter told me she didn t want to do driving school at first but was glad I pushed her to do it because she learned so much and felt confident on the road. We are so grateful to have worked with Jill on this journey. She is second to none!

My daughter did her driving lessons with Jill, the the experience was exceptional. She taught my daughter some tips and tricks that even I didn t know, and made my daughter feel super comfortable. Jill even scheduled her driving test for us, and focused her last lesson on knowing the different courses the tester might use. I recommend Guthrie Driving school to any parent with a new driver!

Jill was my daughters fantastic driving instructor. Thanks to Jills patience, my daughter enjoyed taking her instructions and passed the driving test at Allison Park DMV on the first attempt. Guthrie Driving School is the best. My wife went to another driving school and learned nothing. I didn t have much time to help her get into the road by herself. Then I contact Guthrie Driving school to help her out to train her and get the Driver s license. Dwight Guthrie literally taught my wife how to drive and pass the road test in just a few months time. Dwight knows how to teach. I must say he is a real master out there. Kudos to Dwight and his driving school. We had a great experience with Guthrie Driving school. Tim was our son s instructor and he was fantastic. I loved that you can easily schedule driving times on line and the home pick up/drop off is so convenient. Our son gained additional confidence and passed his test on the first try. We will definitely use Guthrie Driving school when our daughter is ready.

Dwight is the best driving instructor! He was knowleable and kind to teach me all the rules to be a defensive driver. Dwight prepared me for the driving test and showed me tricks and tips to pass the test with confidence. He was flexible and adapted the lessons to my schedule, including Sundays!
