The people were very lovely. I was nervous at first but my instructor did a great job making me feel comfortable. It was a lovely experience and I passed!
great spot to do your drivers test, car was weird to get used to but, other than that, the route was simple and the instructor was a kind older man that was super helpful.
My instructor is very good he observed all the mistakes and make noted each mistake and he given me genuine feedback ..he makes me comfortable before start the test he is a very good human being and down to the earth his name start with Paul finally I passed the test with 88 marks as I was well prepared and did lot of practice .before giving test I would suggest the people to use Pacific Driver Education ..very nice people .. if you are good at driving and if you know all the rules you will pass the test I think total 8 errors are allowed to pass the test and I did 4 errors each error they will deduct 3 points The pass score is 76 and the total score is 100 Thank you Paul and Pacific Driver Education .

I would 100% recommend going to Pacific ! Everyone was so welcoming. They do a very well job at making everyone feel comfortable. I went in today really nervous and I thought I was going to fail but my instructor made me feel comfortable and I passed with a breeze! Thank you Pacific.
Nice people and nice cars provided to do your driving test. Paul was my instructor and he did a great job in conducting my test.
We were so pleased with the quality of the staff and education! Steve, the instructor, was so knowledgeable & laid back, and he was able to help with my teens anxiety. The gal who did the actual driving test was also great & friendly. Glad my sis recommended this place, and I love sharing that recommendation with others!
I took my behind the wheel test at the Beaverton center and it was a very good experience. My examiner made me feel comfortable with the car. I had failed the first time because of a left turn mistake I did. I learnt from my mistake and passed the second time. I cannot recommend this facility more.
I had a great experience! Passed my test with the help of instructors that really care. And I would recommend others to come here
The situation is that Oregon DMV has hardly any drive test appointments available. Im looking at a screen with NO APPOINTMENTS within a 250 mile radius of Portland! For people who need to get a Drivers License in a reasonable timeframe, this literally forces them to go to private companies such as Pacific Driver Education. There is an inherent conflict of interest for these companies. Failing a test leads to more business - through learning lessons and retest. Passing a test means no more business...
. Had an experience with 2 drive tests, which reinforces the conflict of interest. Both tests failed and $160 spent. The first test was abruptly stopped in 5 minutes (despite paying for a 30 minute test) because the driver inched into the intersection to turn left while a pedestrian had not fully crossed the intersection. A little harsh IMHO, but some more testing would have been good to help the driver learn some more. The second test was failed for being too cautious. I asked if there were any major errors. The answer was NO. The driver was slow and hesitant but always safe. There was no final score, no indication of how many points were lost where. I understand that a driver can lose upto 24 points out of 100 and still pass. This instructor also told the driver that it is ok to drive 5 over the speed limit while online documentation discourages going over the speed limit. Isnt it normal for a new driver to be cautious It was not fair to fail a driver for being too cautious. This just goes to reinforce the feeling that the conflict of interest actually played out. People are caught between a DMV with no appointments and businesses that have a vested interest in making money. :-(
