Read full review and have given me an great understanding of the trucking industry, they teach us great techniques and tips that we can use once we are out on our own on the road. It definitely were times where things got a little intense for me like bad nerves during some of the testing but having such supportive and dedicated instructors that want to see you succeed and pushes you to succeed makes it a little harder for you not to finish strong. The cost of schooling is affordable, the staff was very professional and encouraging, I would highly recommend DTR trucking school to anyone who is interested in getting their CDL s, you ll definitely have a great learning experience here!

Just graduated from DTR s class A truck driving program and it was an amazing experience. Great people and amazing instructors. Definitely one of Las Vegas top education truck driving programs! Russ was my instructor, one of thee most dedicated and most amazing instructor/person i have ever met. This guy will go above and beyond to make sure you get the proper knowledge to make sure you learn the right way. Thank you Russ, and thank you DTR!

Josh is a very competent instructors. DTR trucking instructors are fair, and tough. The kind of instructor necessary to be safe, to get on the road and understand the seriousness and responsibility of driving a truck.

The only reason I give 4 stars, instead of 5, is because I saw promotions saying the class was only 4 weeks long, but it turned out to be way longer than that about 8-10 weeks. But other than that it was a great experience, Danny and Michelle are great to work with, awesome attitudes everyday. Isiah was my instructor for the afternoon classes. The prices are good if you pay in full, when I paid it was $5,500 and everything is covered, no weird hidden fees. Overall really great experience, I would recommend. Worse place to go too, all they care about is the money not the students. The moment you get there they demand cash or they will down talk you giving statements like you will never qualify for student aids so come back when you have cash. If you make the mistake of giving them cash right after they receive it the hand you paperwork to sign stating you wont get a refund even if you dont start class. Jay will lie to you as he did to me , I was told my class would start a certain date but it was moved and when I called he texted me msg saying they would contact me on the next class start date , its been 4 months and nothing has happened. I even brought th case to the BBB and dtr refuses to answer them as well.

Okay, I usually dont write reviews, but this time its must. I attended DTR school of trucking. From the beginning of the process till the end their service was incredible and amazing. They were able to accommodate my work schedule. The instructors were very kind and patient through the training process till completion. They were able to help me make this happen and never was there a problem concerning the whole course. I highly recommend this school, theyre services made things very comfortable and definitely go out of the way to make sure you have the skills and knowledge needed to complete and accomplished your goal. very satisfied with their services .

Russ was an amazing instructor!! Very helpful and thorough with the whole driving class. Only downfall was the class was pushed back almost 2 weeks behind schedule and pushed out too far that made the class and testing end 6 weeks from the original starting date. This made me cancel appointments I scheduled months before and cancel trips I d plan way ahead and after our original end date of July 2nd.

I passed my driver test on Monday and I am very excited to start my new journey. Thanks to DTR and all the staff for being very helpful and knowledgeable. I recommend this school to anyone who is looking to their CDL. Experience or not they teach you everything you need to know to get on the road. Thanks DTR.

In September of 2023 I underwent the CDL class A training program at DTR School of Trucking and thanks to Daniel and instructor Josh I obtained my CDL class A for automatic transmission. Third party testing site. Small class size. Don t get me wrong it s a challenge to gain proficiency over all the material presented in the course, especially the pre-trip, but DTR was there with me every step of the way and in the end I completed the program with a sense of confidence in my learning progress and mastery of driving skills. I want to make special mention that throughout the month-long journey I got the distinct impression that staff at DTR really cared about me as a driver and were willing to invest in my learning process. DTR is not just one of those CDL mill schools where they treat you like youre just another brick in the wall, a statistic, a number. No, at DTR I got personalized attention and encouragement on areas where I needed to improve. They helped me laser in on my weak points and gave me practice to where I felt competent. TBH when I started at DTR I couldn t even back up a tricycle, let alone successfully do a 90 degree alley dock! But they didn t give up on me, and schooled me up so I could pass the driving portion with confidence and gave me a solid background in safe driving strategies along with the theoretical underpinnings of the modern tractor/trailer pre-trip inspection to obtain my CDL. I am confident in my recommendation of DTR School of Trucking to anyone looking to get their CDL class A, take a refresher, and especially to people that are a little hesitant (like me) going into it about their abilities to drive truck. Truck driving is my second career. DTR enabled me to learn, absorb and to practice all of the skills requisite of passing the test. The instructors are knowledgable and patient. I would recommend DTR to anyone contemplating a career in trucking.
